Meditations in Paper: Monet’s Garden

This origami sculpture is my tribute to Claude Monet’s iconic water lily series, capturing the timeless tranquility of his Giverny garden. While Monet used soft, layered brushstrokes to reflect light and water, I used the rhythmic, precise art of origami to recreate that same sense of stillness. For me, this piece is about finding peace. The process of folding each lily and pad became a form of remedy—a quiet meditation that brought calm to my mind, fold by fold. By translating fluid water and delicate flora into structured paper design, the artwork invites you to slow down. It stands as a physical reminder of the healing power of nature and the quiet comfort found in patient creation.

Welcome to the fold!
Where creativity and structure come together.
